If you want to track your habits in Notion, this template is for you.

You can use this minimalist habit tracker template to create a weekly habit tracking sheet that you can use to track your goals and develop positive habits.

There are no complicated features or point systems here, just an easy-to-use habit tracker that works flawlessly on your computer or phone.

Simple Habit Tracking Inspired by Analog Systems

If you're looking for a more analog alternative to apps like Habitica, Strides, and Habitify, this template might be just what you're looking for. In fact, it is based on a paper-based system that I used to use.

When I was in college, I came across Pick Four, a goal-tracking notebook created by Zig Ziglar. This notebook helped me in making significant progress toward several of my objectives.

The basic idea is to commit to daily practice in a few projects or habits, then track your progress.

I remember flipping through my recorded pages, seeing my progress, and being inspired to continue putting in daily work.

This system (which sadly went out of print years ago) inspired me to create a simple habit tracker for Notion.

Rather than including streaks, difficulty ratings, and other complex features, this habit tracker template keeps things simple.

A button at the top of the page creates a weekly worksheet with habit checkboxes.

You can open your tracker at the end of each day and check off the habits you completed. There is also a Weekly Summary section where you can jot down any observations, lessons, or changes you want to make. That's all.

Over time, you'll build up a long page that details your habit-tracking history – but your current week will always be at the top, so you can access it immediately.

Made for Desktop and Mobile Displays

The template also makes use of some interesting multi-column layout hacks in Notion to make it easy to use and navigate from both your phone and your desktop.

Using the Notion widget, add your habit tracker page to your phone's homescreen and you'll be able to access the tracker right away.
